6m 10s
"In India, the Surya Namaskars are accompanied by the chanting of mantras, which are supposed to have a powerful effect on the mind, but on the glandular system as well". Indra Devi
Samantraka Surya Namaskar combines bija, veda and laukika mantras with the dynamic sun salutation sequence for a deeply transformative practice. Practiced in the morning, typically with the rising of the sun. If one is umable to do the full vinyasas they can simply prostrate (from standing or kneeling) as they chant the mantras silently.
Translation:
Salutations to the friend of all, , the shining one, the one who induces activity, to he who illumines, to the wone who moves through the sky, to the giver of strength and nourishment, to the golden cosmic Self, to the rays of the Sun, to the Son of the cosmic mother, to the stimulating power of the Sun, to he who is fit to be praised, to the one who leads to enlightenment.
